Ms. Larson’s practice in New York focused primarily on complex commercial litigation, Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and securities litigation, include representing whistleblowers to the Securities & Exchange Commission. After returning to her home state of Michigan, Ms. Larson joined the practice at John R. Foley, P.C. where she assists with litigation strategy across the full spectrum of cases. Ms. Larson’s practice has included appellate work in both state and federal courts.
Representative matters include:
• Secured a favorable verdict in adversary proceeding between Chapter 11 Debtor and a clearing bank regarding a special purpose account.
• Defeated claims by limited partners in a commercial venture regarding share substitution after a merger and resulting tax claims.
• Obtained favorable opinion in federal circuit court appeal regarding duplicative litigation over a REIT merger.
• Obtained parenting time order for a father denied parenting time for four years.
